With the ability to react autonomously in situations where driver safety is key, take comfort that you and your passengers are backed by MG Pilot safety intelligence.
Always on guard, each feature works discreetly behind the scenes to protect you from potential risks, offering a sense of security that remains present even if you don't always notice it.
Forward Collision Alert. Provides an audible alert to the driver if a potential collision with the vehicle ahead is detected.
Autonomous Emergency Braking. The vehicle will automatically apply the brakes when it detects a potential collision ahead.
Lane Departure Warning. Warns the driver if they are leaving the lane unintentionally or without the turn signals active.
Lane Keep Assist. Keeps the vehicle centered in the lane, and will correct if it detects veering out of the lane.
Autonomous Cruise Control. Set and forget for those long trips, the vehicle will maintain a set speed along highways.
Intelligent Speed Limit. The vehicle can read speed limit signs and ensure the driver is alerted of any changes to speed conditions.
The advanced MG Pilot suite of technology provides peace of mind with an array of Active Driver Safety features. These equipped features proactively recognise and address potential hazards to give you greater confidence as you navigate the roads.

There are a range of additional features included in MG Pilot to further enhance the safety of all passengers inside your MG. These features include:
MG iSMART features may differ based on the vehicle model and trim, and are subject to change without prior notice. MG iSMART is provided as a complimentary service for the first 12 months from your purchase date of a new MG vehicle. After this period, you are responsible for payment of any service or licence charges MG may introduce. If charges are implemented, you will receive at least 60 days' notice. iSMART is available on MG3 Essence and MG3 HYBRID+ Essence variants only. iSMART is available on HS Excite and Essence variants only.
